Philadelphia Innovation Tank (PIT) is an initiative by ACVC within the Innovation and Development enterprise as a strategic forum to provide resources for investigators, scientists, and entrepreneurs to conduct testing and evaluation of novel diagnostic and therapeutic agents and devices within various aspects of cardiovascular medicine in addition to providing facilities for training operators in evolving technology. PIT was founded in September 2014 recognizing the need for resources for innovation and technology development within the Greater Philadelphia region. PIT offers conference space, laboratories, and animal facilities for operations related to technology development and personnel training within the greater city radius.
